What AuditionWizard Does
AuditionWizard helps music educators organize and manage auditions. We provide tools to:
- Create and manage audition events
- Invite schools and directors
- Register students for auditions
- Generate schedules and reports
- Keep records of school financials related to auditions
Who Can Use AuditionWizard
- You must be 18 or older to create an account
- You must be a music educator or event organizer to use our service
- You must have authority to submit student information on behalf of your school
When you submit student information, you confirm that you have proper authorization from your school and that the information is accurate.
Your Account
Your Responsibilities:
- Keep your password secure and confidential
- Don't share your account with others
- Notify us immediately if your account is compromised
- Provide accurate information when registering
- Keep your account information up to date
We reserve the right to:
- Suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms
- Remove content that is inappropriate or harmful
- Refuse service to anyone for any reason
Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to:
- Use AuditionWizard for any illegal purpose
- Submit false or misleading information
- Access other users' accounts without permission
- Attempt to hack, disrupt, or damage our service
- Use automated tools to scrape or collect data
- Harass, abuse, or harm other users
- Upload viruses or malicious code
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
You agree TO:
- Use the service only for organizing legitimate auditions
- Respect the privacy of students and other users
- Comply with FERPA and other educational privacy laws
- Be respectful in all communications
Student Information
When you submit student information to AuditionWizard:
- You are responsible for ensuring you have proper authorization
- Student information is tied to your school, not your personal account
- If you leave a school, you will lose access to that school's student information
- Student information will be visible to event hosts and registration volunteers during events
We handle student data as described in our Privacy Policy.
Content and Ownership
Your Content:
- You retain ownership of all information you submit
- You grant us permission to use your content to provide our service
- You are responsible for the accuracy of your content
- You can delete your content by closing your account
Our Content:
- AuditionWizard owns all rights to the website, software, and design
- You may not copy, modify, or distribute our code or content
- Our name and logo are our trademarks
Service Availability
We try our best, but we don't guarantee the service will be available 100% of the time. We may need to perform maintenance or updates, change or discontinue features, and are not responsible for issues caused by your internet connection or device.
Limitations and Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is": we don't guarantee it will meet all your needs or be error-free. We're not responsible for decisions made based on our service or for lost data (though we do regular backups).
Our liability is limited: we're not responsible for indirect damages or lost profits; our maximum liability is limited to the amount you paid us (currently $0); we're not responsible for third-party services or links.
Account Termination
You can close your account anytime by contacting us at [email protected]. We'll delete your information within 30 days; some information may be retained for legal requirements.
We may terminate your account if you violate these terms, provide false information, engage in harmful or illegal activity, or we discontinue the service.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we do, we'll post the new terms on this page, update the "Last Updated" date, and email you for significant changes. Continued use means you accept the changes.
Dispute Resolution
If you have a problem: contact us first at [email protected]. We'll try to resolve it fairly and quickly. If we can't, we'll work it out according to Virginia law. These terms are governed by Virginia law and disputes will be handled in Virginia courts.
General Terms
- Entire Agreement: These terms, along with our Privacy Policy, are the complete agreement
- Severability: If any part is found invalid, the rest still applies
- No Waiver: Our failure to enforce a term doesn't waive our right to enforce it later
- Assignment: We may transfer our rights; you may not transfer yours without permission
